Advert paperwork assignment 2 - Harry
The qualitative data questions have been asked to 5 people in our class. The results were very positive, and the filming of it went well too. Mostly people said that the advert would encourage them to buy the product, which is inevitably what we wanted. Qualitative data is a measure of peoples opinions, rather than number based values. People mostly said it was the music that would encourage them to buy. The music was "rythm of the night" by Bastille, and mainly everyone said that the music made them want to go out and have fun and because the advert was for Converse, the association was that fun and going out was related to converse. So advertising and getting the correct messages across was successful.

Health and safety. Harry
The health and safety procedures we followed, were simply looking for potential dangers and avoiding them as best we could. We referred often back to the regulations, and made sure while filming up and down stairs that a level of responsibility and safety was maintained. We avoided any injuries effectively.

How well the group managed problems. Harry
We managed problems fairly well. Such problems were when we couldn't get hold of a skateboard. We just improvised and changed the script so that we would dance instead of using the skateboard. Also weather changes sometimes proved a problem, as one moment it would be sunny, but another it would be raining, so for the sake of continuity we had to agree very quickly on what weather we would film in and what angles we could use to compensate for changes in lighting, for example standing in the way of the sun so as to reduce glare, or block the rain to protect the camera. Luckily we avoided most of these problems.

How well the group coped when problems arose - Becky
Our group have to overcome a few different problems within our group, for example the weather change and changing our idea as we weren't able to get hold of a skateboard. Our group handled them well by agreeing about how we were going to change the idea and what different camera angles we planned on using. The weather we were able to work with but we knew that we had to film quick as we needed the film to be all done in the rain otherwise we knew that the film wouldn't flow as it would be half in the rain and half in the sun. We dealt with the problems well.
How well the group managed Health&Safety - Becky
One of the tasks was to create a risk assessment, with the health and safety rules in mind. Whilst filming we referred back to the risk assessment making sure we did not get injured.
Our group managed to be successful throughout our filming, whilst overcoming the weather in which we had. As we filmed outside walking up and down stairs, whilst it was raining we needed to make sure that all the actors were safe.
How well the group managed health and safety. - Cheryl
We created a risk assessment that outlined certain risks that could occur whilst filming. We took into account tripping hazards and weather conditions. When filming we made sure to make sure we kept an eye on where we stepped to avoid tripping. Also, we handled the equipment with care, looking out for wires. We made sure we where lifting correctly.
We had no injury's or accidents that occurred when filming. This means we were successful in keeping ourselves safe.
